RUMI FEST 2010 with Coleman Barks - Day 1

RUMI FEST 2010 - Day 1 featured performances by: Coleman Barks, Whirling Dervishes, from the Canadian Sufi Cultural Center, Garo & Friends and a special guest performance of Irshad Khan, the sitar maestro. It also featured an art exhibit by: THE OPEN EASEL revolving around Rumi's work.

*Partial proceeds from the Rumi Fest were given personally to Dr. Edhi of EDHI FOUNDATION and the other half were given to the new hospital in Pakistan built by the Turkish government. Thanks to all those who came to the event and to those who donated for the flooding victims in Pakistan. May we all open our hearts towards those in serious need.

RUMI FEST 2010 - Day 2 will feature performances by: Coleman Barks, Whirling Dervishes, from the Canadian Sufi Cultural Center with Sufi Music, Sohbat by Anwar Khurshid and Amir Amiri and a special book signing opportunity of Coleman Barks' most recent work Rumi: The Big Red Book. It will also feature art exhibits by: THE OPEN EASEL and Leili Sherkat.
